Silver Charm Bracelet turned goldish colour?

My mum has a charm bracelet which is verryy old and over time it has turned to a goldy colour. I used a silver polish cloth to try and restore it but it's taking a long time to get it back to its original colour. Any suggestions? I'm open to at home methods or anyone who knows where I can take it to get it restored proffessionally.
