My sterling silver charm turning copper colourish...?

i think i cleaned it a little toooo much. it looks like copper more than silver and it says 925. its expensive, it holds a Jade Gemstone. How can i fix this or prevent it from getting worse?

well i was gonna say it could be dirty so clean it with silver cleaner.
but if you did already clean it and you cleaned it correctly then what could be happening is that it may be Silver Plated. so the main piece of jewerly is copper and the is covered in silver.
