Hasbro began early in 1923 in Providence, Rhode Island. Two brothers, Henry and Helal Hassenfeld came to America from Poland. Start a textile company still sell fabric remnants. Hassenfield Henry died in 1960. His son Merrill has taken complete control of society and continued to lead its success. In 1968 the company name was shortened to Hasbro.

Hasbro has become one of the largest toy companies in the U.S. successfully. popular toys like Mr. Potato Head, GI Joe, Transformers, licensed by elements of Sesame Street toys, Playskool, Nerf toys, Tonka trunks, Easy Bake Oven, Cabbage Patch Kids and different games have helped make the name toy manufacturers Hasbro's most recognized United States.
